Itinerary
- Meet your guide in Nairobi (or designated departure city) and receive a detailed briefing. Overnight transfer to the starting point near Mt. Kenya.
• Begin your trek from the foothills and enter the enchanting bamboo forests. Set up camp and enjoy a welcome dinner under the stars.
• Continue ascending through the vibrant lower slopes, with river crossings and bird watching opportunities.
• Overnight at a scenic forest camp.
• Trek into the open moorland, where the landscape transforms into rolling hills and rugged terrains.
• Ascend to a higher camp, allowing your body to adjust to the increasing altitude.
• Enjoy a rest day with optional short walks around the area.
• Tackle a gradual ascent toward the base camp, with time allocated for acclimatization and photography stops.
